    Description

    Monarch Distributing is hiring for a Merchandiser role in the Westfield area. We are looking for prospective candidates with varying levels of experience that would like to join Indiana's largest beer distributor. This role supports the Sales department by merchandising grocery and convenience store accounts, building thematic displays, stocking the beer aisle, and organizing back room.

    Shift: M-T & Th-Sat - off on Wednesdays and Sundays with early morning start
    Pay: $18/hour plus mileage & car allowance Benefits:

    The compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting. We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.

    Position Summary:

    Our Merchandising Team supports our Sales & Delivery Departments by ensuring our products are up to date, our brands are well represented, and our presence stands out in top retailers nationwide. Merchandisers travel to grocery stores to ensure products are stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along their route. Merchandisers help to maintain our relationships in the market by continuing to develop our supplier brands while providing best in class service.

    Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along your route
    • Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
    • Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating product
    • Report backstock inventory levels
    • Maintain relationships in the market by providing best in class service
    • Other projects or duties as assigned
