    NATURE & SCOPE

    The Copy Quality/Editorial Associate is a member of Content Clearance (MLR) and has responsibility for ensuring technical and editorial accuracy with relevant internal and external standards as delegated. The role will review content and materials to provide technical and constructive feedback prior to release for use.

    This role is up to full time and hours/duties may fluctuate based on department needs. Occasional overtime may be requested during peak business periods.

    MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Review, proofread, suggest corrections and/or edit final proofs and working copies provided by internal departments and their agencies.
    • Collaborate with internal marketing and medical stakeholders to increase readability of complex material
    • Verify consistent brand and tone voice across different types of documents and communications within and across marketing and communication channels
    • Verify inclusion of required changes and content elements
    • Ensure that all materials follow agency or brand editorial style
    • Multitask and prioritize deliverables based on deadline
    • Request and track permissions, as applicable
    • Update file structures to ensure FDA submission standards are applied

    EXPERTISE

    BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

    • Bachelor's degree and an editorial or technical writing background (2-5 years).
    • Basic understanding of the medical/pharmaceutical advertising industry and/or life sciences industry.
    • Excellent communication skills across team, peer group and leadership (virtual and live)
    • Ability to prioritize activities and workload in an agile environment, focus on delivering high quality work in a consistent and efficient manner
    • High focus on details and equally strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High proficiency in Microsoft tools and ability to quickly learn review system technologies
