    Description

    As a Technical Advisor, you will be a necessary part of the selling effort for Architectural Coatings Advice Center. PPG markets and sells outstanding technical expertise together with our products and services. PPG customers place a high value on this expertise as it helps them run their operations in an efficient manner.

    We are looking for a BI-LINGUAL, SPANISH SPEAKING team member at this time.

    You will work a hybrid schedule in the Cranberry Twp, PA office and report to the Manager of the Technical Advice Center.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work with both Internal and External PPG customers. This may include members of field sales, PPG owned stores and dealer personnel, and the DIY store and/or consumer.
    • Provide accurate technical information on all PPGAC products including but not limited to all brands under PPG to include Pittsburgh Paints, Porter, Olympic, Glidden Professional, and Flood.
    • Spend an average of 90% of time answering calls, inputting tickets, responding to email with the remaining 10% spent on training, development, and meetings.
    • Provide sales team and end-users with recommendations for products, product systems, prep and application methods.
    • Complaint resolution and cost-effective negotiations.
    • Work with Marketing, Customer Service, and R&D on products, potential issues, testing and field trials.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or paint-related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
    • 2+ years of experience in retail sales or customer service.
    • NACE, SSPC, or MPI certification preferred.
    • Fluent in a second language, Spanish. Must be able to both read and write in Spanish.
