Desired Qualifications:

Required:

• CPR certification
• At least 21 years of age

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of experience working in an office setting (preferably in a setting with kids)
• Demonstrated excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated natural ability to see camp from an administrative point-of-view (to get the bigger picture)
• Demonstrated natural inclination to take initiative

Experience:

Experience with computers and clerical skills required

Experience supervising staff preferred

Overall knowledge of the camp operation

The Front Office Supervisor leads a team in maintaining the summer operations of Camp Sewataro's summer office including prioritizing incoming calls and speaking with parents, managing camper data and sending mass emails, email communication and camp document organization, along with interacting with camp personnel. This role is a front-facing role with parents, campers, and staff members on a daily basis.

This role is a supervisory role where you advise, motivate, supervise, and provide feedback to the front office staff. Your goal is to create a team atmosphere with the Office Assistants, set clear expectations and tasks, and complete summer evaluations

This role manages the following daily tasks:

• Daily administrative tasks
• Phone
• Email
• Mail
• Attendance
• Early releases
• Late arrivals
• Transportation exceptions
• Missing/late lunches

Pre-camp hours beginning in late May

Camp Season: June 24 - August 16, 2024

Hours: 8:00 AM 4:15 PM; Monday - Friday

*Camp will be closed Thursday, July 4th*
