    Job DescriptionSalary: $23-$26

    Douglas Brooke Homes is expanding their Renovation and Remodeling division and is looking for an experienced carpenter to work alongside the Renovation Project Manager. The right candidate will have strong carpentry skills blended with customer excellence. This role in addition to completing hands on projects, will include helping manage sub-contractors on site, create scopes of work and calculate material takeoffs on site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Interior and exterior demolition, including removal of counters, cabinets, flooring, trim, drywall, windows, doors, siding, fascia, and soffits.
    • Interior and exterior carpentry, including installation of interior and exterior doors and windows, cabinets, shelving, casings, baseboards, molding and trim.
    • Setting up and removing floor protection and dust abatement.
    • Hanging and finishing small projects.
    • Minor interior and exterior painting.
    • Other minor basic construction tasks as required.

    Requirements:

    • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction projects.
    • Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
    • Strong problem solving skills to address unexpected issues during the remodeling process.
    • Knowledge of local building and safety codes.
    • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Clean driver record
    • Experience with Buildertrend a plus

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods of standing, bending and kneeling.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
    • Must be able to work safety with sharp tools and power equipment.
    • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
    • Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
    • Ability to work in a high dust area with proper PPE.

    Pay:

    $23 - $25 starting based on experience

    Use of a company vehicle with a fuel card
