- Manage, train, coach, and support Crew/Team members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops.
- Direct restaurant personnel to ensure operational standards are met for all aspects of food service.
- Ensure compliance with the employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Oversee restaurant opening and closing duties.
- Prepare and adjust employee work schedules to align with staffing needs.
- Monitor restaurant inventory levels and place orders for essentials within budget guidelines.
- Maintain all employment and payroll records for the drive-in restaurant.
- Promote a customer-first mentality, ensuring exceptional service from all employees.
- Address guest requests promptly and respectfully, reporting complaints as necessary.
- Conduct interviews and hire team members to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to improve financial and sales performance.
- Design and implement effective marketing strategies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
- At least two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), with a proven ability to run shifts independently.
- Able to work a minimum of five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledgeable in recruitment, interviewing, and selection procedures.
- Familiar with federal and state labor laws, as well as local health and sanitation regulations.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with effective verbal and written communication.
- Basic accounting and computer proficiency.
- Ability to follow directions and work autonomously while multitasking and solving problems effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Willingness to adhere to SONIC's appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
