    DevOps Engineer II with Credit One Bank, N.A. (Las Vegas, NV)

    Job Description:
    Design and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of software plans, policies, systems, and procedures to achieve long-range and annual goals.

    Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.

    Participate in software infrastructure projects, developing project feasibility, scope of work project boundaries, detailed project plans, milestones, and deadlines. Coordinate design, build, installation, and maintenance of a reliable interoperating software infrastructure to promote sharing of information and operations. Monitor system and network performance. Forecast software requirements and perform capacity planning studies. Perform maintenance and modification of software systems to expand capacity and meet enterprise requirements. Recommend purchase and upgrade of server hardware and software. Develop and deploy infrastructure as code using automation and orchestration tools in both on premise and cloud environments. Build CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing and vulnerability scanning. Monitor CI/CD builds, analyze trends, and improve build times. Develop and write implementation plans for projects. Research new tools and technologies and make technical recommendations to management. Ensure that systems are hardened using cybersecurity best practices. Work closely with other Infrastructure teams, IT Security, QA and Development. Position is 100% remote, reporting to corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV.

    Job Requirements:
    Requires a Master's in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of experience.

    Must have experience in each of the following skills:
    AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services; Terraform; Ansible; Git; Kafka; Nginx; Scripting; and Java Programming.
