- Analyzing and addressing the root causes of electrical issues in order to repair complicated electrical equipment
- Maintaining microprocessors, PLC, motor drive, operator interface terminals, and robotic systems by making modifications and installing parts as necessary
- Reading and using diagrams, technical manuals, and engineering instructions
- Have a basic knowledge of electronics and electrical theories, including digital circuitry, AC/DC theory, microprocessors, and logic systems
- Can work independently and use judgement to make effective and timely decisions
- Can work as a member of a team and communicate technical information to other personnel
- Are comfortable working on a computer and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- A current Low Voltage Qualification (LVQ) and Medium Voltage Qualification (MVQ)
- The ability to meet Forklift Driver qualification requirements and to operate a lift
