    Job Summary: As a Cybersecurity Site Reliability Engineer (CSRE) at FreeWheel, you will be at the forefront of merging cutting-edge cybersecurity measures with advanced site reliability and development practices. You will play a crucial role in protecting and optimizing the performance of our multi-digital platforms and infrastructure, ensuring the security and operational reliability of our systems.

    Job Description:

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into software and cloud environments
    • Write code and scripts to support Infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated security implementation
    • Evaluate and manage endpoint security solutions across various operating systems
    • Optimize system performance while enforcing security measures such as intrusion detection
    • Develop secure automation strategies to enhance infrastructure configuration
    • Engage with engineers to tailor security solutions to application workloads
    • Implement robust security controls including cloud security and encryption
    • Provide expert guidance on security best practices to ensure proactive security measures

    Must-Have Technical Skills:

    • 5+ years of administration experience with Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes
    • Proficiency in configuration management using Cloud Formation, Terraform, and Ansible
    • Experience in coding with Python, Java, or C++
    • Expertise in cloud platforms (such as AWS) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
    • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and operating systems (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, CentOS)
    • Experience in technical security software deployment and management

    Good to Have Technical Skills:

    • Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and industry best practices
    • Advanced technical SRE experience and cybersecurity solutions

    Salary Range:

    National Pay Range: $82,219.87 USD-$192,702.83 USD
