    Job Description

    As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the Controller is responsible for leadership of accounting, SEC reporting and SOX compliance function for the Company. The Controller will oversee the month-end closing process and establishing controls to ensure timely and accurate financial statement. The position plays a critical role in cultivating talent within the Finance function and championing financial stewardship across the organization.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead a high-performing accounting team responsible for the development, execution and measurement of accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
    • Identify and implement controls and procedures to improve methods of controlling, monitoring, and reporting key performance metrics.
    • Lead adoption of emerging standard stemming from changes in U.S. GAAP and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
    • Continuously improve accounting systems and procedures to ensure the Company's accounting records provide accurate and timely information in accordance with GAAP and Federal and State tax regulations in the jurisdictions we operate within.
    • Ensure the Company meets all financial reporting requirements with the SEC and that the Company abides by all financial policies and procedures.
    • Provide insightful financial reporting to management on a monthly/quarterly basis to inform decision making.
    • Ensure integrity and control of critical systematic processes from which financial data is generated.
    • Provide leadership and direction related to identifying, documenting, and assessing the Company's internal controls and procedures for financial reporting to ensure ongoing compliance with the internal control provisions of SOX.
    • Provide strong leadership to the accounting/compliance organization to ensure that the function is properly organized, effective, staffed, developed, motivated, with an appropriate sense of urgency. Develop accounting team capabilities to ensure the team scales with Company growth and complexity.
    • Build partnerships across functional areas aligning with strategic plans to achieve desired financial results, including reengineering opportunities.
    • Collaborate with teams throughout the organization to ensure alignment on finance related tasks.
    • Cultivate relationships with internal and external strategic partners and stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns and maintain strong relationships.
    • Set clear performance goals and KPI's for team members for this position's direct and indirect reports.
    • Assist with monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
    • 10 years in Finance or Accounting roles.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
    • Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
    • Experience working with a public accounting firm or a publicly traded Company.
    • CPA desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a finance or accounting team.
    • Proficient in SAP, excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze large sets of data.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Enjoys working in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
