Job summary
The laundry aide will assure that clean laundry, linen, garments, etc., are distributed to designated areas as instructed during emergency conditions.The laundry aide will also ensure that work/cleaning schedules for equipment are followed and report all accidents/incidents in a timely manner to their supervisor.
This position requires coordination with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas. The laundry aide must follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment.
