    Curant Healthis searching for a Systems Administrator to join its team in Smyrna , GA. This position is responsible for all technology systems support to ensure the availability, reliability, sustainability, operations, administration of information technology servers, data storage, software applications, and all other IT related peripherals.

    Responsibilities
    • The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the workstations, servers and corporate IT systems. The environment contains a blend of Windows Servers, Windows workstations, WAN, LAN, VPN, VMware, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint, Active Directory, Linux/UNIX, VOIP, and custom applications.
    • Responsible for helpdesk support services, as well as perform hardware, software and network troubleshooting in a timely and effective manner. Guiding the implementation of facilities infrastructure from the ground up with minimal supervision. Documenting new and existing infrastructure deployments.
    • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, phone systems, website maintenance tasks, applications software, and all configurations. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
    • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
    • Update website content per request.
    • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
    • Create documentation for technology functions.
    • Research new technologies that could assist Curant Health in reducing costs and/or improve productivity as requested.
    • Provide end-user training.
    • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
    • Create and maintain IT inventory system
    • Plays key roles in ensuring that employees stay abreast of technology changes that are made to support our business needs.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science preferred.
    • 3- 5 years of solid Helpdesk/networking experience.
    • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage team responsibilities and be able to work under stressful conditions with a sense of urgency.
    • Must be detailed-oriented and a team-player.
    • Work experience includes: enterprise network design and support, network security protocols, high-availability fault-tolerant distributed storage systems, Firewalls & IDS, VPN, Routers and Switches, Linux and UNIX, Windows Workstation, Microsoft Exchange Online system design and administration, Active Directory group policy management and integration using ldap and kerberos, virtualized Servers (VmWare & Hyper-V).
