    EmployeeProviding delivery of RI/CO claims services, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases. Ensuring customer satisfaction and equitable solution to RI/CO claims in accordance with company guidelines.


    Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation of RI/CO claims management strategies and objectives for the region / branch
    • Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes and modifications
    • Contribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve RI/CO
    • Approve RI/CO claims within appropriate authority levels
    • Maintain good client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers and the general public
    • Respond to client requests in accordance with service standards
    • Provide information and feedback on RI/CO claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried out
    • Ensure recoverable amounts are assessed and effectively followed up and approving significant claims within written authority levels
    • Ensure legitimate RI/CO claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions by providing technical expertise and leadership
    • Supervise the investigation and settlement of all RI/CO claims within the team
    • Supervise RI/CO Claims staff

    Requirements:

    Preferred Education Specifics


    • Relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
    Preferred Experience


    • At least 7 years experience in insurance
    Preferred Knowledge


    • Strong knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes
