Description

Selectek has a fantastic opportunity for an Applications Engineer to join our client's team in Marietta, GA.

Ideally, this person will come from an Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering background and have three to five years as a Project Engineer, Applications Engineer, or Process Engineer.

There may be a WFH option in that you may have a couple of days each week to work from home.

You will not be fully remote.

Pay rate:
$33/hour - $36/hour ($68,000 - $75,000 annual salary)

Term: 6-month temp to perm


Job Duties:
Responsible for all communication and coordination of sales opportunities to which they are assigned
Responsible for all communication and coordination with the customer after project is awarded
Responsible for accurate budgeting and sizing of all equipment within the scope of a given opportunity
Responsible for providing an accurate proposal in a timely manner at the customer's or potential customer's request
Responsible for clearly defining all equipment sold and depending on the project type, either execute the project with minimal outside intervention (Type 1) in conjunction with an assigned Project Engineer (Type 2) or with a project team as defined by the Director of Projects (Type 3)
Update and maintain billing milestones in the ERP system
Releasing of Invoices in the ERP system


Required:
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited four-year university
3-5 years as an Application, Process, or Project Engineer for Industrial projects
Experience sizing equipment
Strong communications skills
