    Platform Engineer | Austin, Texas - Hybrid


    A highly stable and growing organization is looking for a Platform Engineer to join their team They are looking for an experienced engineer to be part of a cross functional team where they will work on systems from the infrastructure level.


    This is a rather unique opportunity in that they are looking for a developer who has a solid understanding of reliability, application monitoring and is passionate about supporting other devs to ensure code gets out faster and development is easier.


    They are needing someone who is proficient with Typescript, has a solid understanding of APM and can essentially be a SME on reliability.


    This is NOT a traditional DevOps or SRE role, but rather a full stack position with an emphasis on reliability and platform engineering.

    Candidates must be local to Austin, Texas.

    This Person Will Be Responsible For

    Implementing and maintaining scalable AWS infrastructure
    Implementing best practices for reliability and observability
    Automation of deployment and management processes
    Developing Typescript applications and libraries

    Requirements

    4+ years of experience in platform or reliability engineering
    Background and working experience with Typescript
    Experience with multi-tier application tracing
    Experience with AWS ELK, ECS, EC2, Lambda, IAM, and S3
    Solid knowledge of APM tools (ideally familiar with OpenTelemetry)
