- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities in high school behavior classrooms, elementary behavior classrooms, and resource classrooms.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, including behavior management strategies and academic interventions.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to meet individualized goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, behavior, and IEP goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with behavior disorders and diverse learning needs
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and best practices in special education
