- Execute assigned journal entries, including accruals, consolidation entries, foreign exchange, intercompany, and overall maintenance of accounts\.
- Complete balance sheet account reconciliations by verifying completeness and accuracy of data and identifying and resolving discrepancies\.
- Perform accounts payable duties by processing invoices, verifying payment documentation, and ensuring the correct allocation of charges\.
- Opportunity to support certain business\-unit accounting and finance teams related to accounting and close projects as required\.
- Support the financial reporting team through the completion of assigned SEC deliverables\.
- Assist in providing management reporting requirements and ad\-hoc requests, including results and variance analyses\.
- Support the execution of the enterprise\-wide control plan, including the tracking and execution of Control Plan deliverables\.
- Develop inter\-departmental and cross\-business unit relationships through assignments and networking opportunities\.
- Provide cross\-department assignment support based on department needs\.
- Other duties as assigned\.

Job Summary:
Textron is seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team\.
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in executing assigned journal entries, completing balance sheet account reconciliation, performing accounts payable duties and supporting the financial reporting team\.
