$1.25/hrPart Time benefits includedJob Summary & Deliverables Valley Oaks is a group home for men specializing in maintaining mental health stability and sobriety. Behavioral Health Technicians will be responsible for prompting independence and encouraging healthy habits. The Behavioral Health Technician assists the multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide therapeutic and daily living services and structure to clients within a modified therapeutic community. The BHT also supports the workflow of the milieu and assists with de-escalation and emotional regulation. Essential FunctionsModels and teaches independent living skillsEngages clients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goalsInteracts with clients, observes behaviors, and communicates significant observations to treatment teamDistributes medications and follows medication management proceduresCollects urine analysis screensPerforms routine room and living-area inspectionsCoordinates care with internal and external providersTransports clients to off-campus appointmentsCompletes and maintains required documentation Requirements CPR certification | Valley will provide if neededPreferred QualificationsTwo years of behavioral health or social services experiencePrevious experience with medication management
