Summary:
This position is responsible for providing training seat management and conducting statistical and trend analysis in support of the Army National Guard's (ARNG) Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP).
This program includes positions at an estimated 280 RSP sites throughout the 50 states, three territories and the District of Columbia.
Job DescriptionProvide input to required reports and attend meetings as required
Provide administrative support and analysis to determine, identify, and assure accurate training set management
Maintain the Vulcan application and perform daily input/reporting actions related to ship dates
Monitor Vulcan for Ship Date Management requests daily.
Add the Recruit information to Ship Date Management Roster
Use REQUEST to locate all possible available ship dates according to the Recruit's availability and Military Occupation Specialty
Conduct statistical and trends analysis using DPRO and RMS to create and provide the National Retention Notes Report and State Retention Notes Report.
Provide State specific retention data analysis and statistical data for the RSP Quick Facts ReportCreate and provide the National GC Shipper QC Report using data from Vulcan
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited School is preferred, however an associate degree maybe considered along with extensive relevant work experience managing ARNG RSP and related programs at the state and/or national level.
1 to 2 years of experience working with the Vulcan ApplicationExperience as a Web REQUEST user
Knowledge of ARNG enlistment programs and benefits
MEPS Guidance Counselor Qualified
Meet installation and facility access control requirements and a favorable National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI) Investigation
Experience using Microsoft Office tools
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
