    We are a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of flanges, expansion joints, valves, other pipe fittings, and custom-fabricated parts for the Agriculture, Exhaust, HVAC, and Water Works markets.

    The

    Customer Care Associate

    position supports API by providing daily administrative assistance. The role primarily involves facilitating the sales process and ensuring seamless communication between the sales team and customers.


    A typical day:
    Enter purchase order information into the computer system and ensure all the information is accurate.
    Maintains and updates customer accounts with relevant purchase information, complaints, or other data.

    Inform sales staff of issues that arise, such as a delay in shipping, or if customers have specific questions or complaints that sales support is unable to handle.

    Corresponds with clients and prepares information for them about products being considered for purchase.
    Keeps customers updated on changes in their orders, such as delivery dates.
    Monitors existing customers orders and sales history to for existing customers to assess the need for replenishing inventories.
    Provides ongoing customer and minor technical service to existing accounts.

    The ideal candidate requires the following:
    Minimum 3 years experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
    High school diploma or GED equivalent.
    Self-motivated, results-oriented individual.
    Positive, cand-do attitude with a focus on high-quality customer service.
    Team player with the ability to work closely with others.
    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    Can successfully learn new technologies like ERP/CRM systems.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize workload.

    We highly prefer the following:
    Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field.
    Knowledge of pipe, valves, and fittings.
