Description
Selectek has an immediate opportunity for a Technical and Sales Support position in Newnan, GA. In this role, you will replace electrical motors in the warehouse and support sales and technical personnel in-office.Duties & Description:
Work with Customer Service and the Outside Sales team to build, modify and repair oil filtration systems to meet customer requirements.
Follow up with customers after unit delivery to confirm installation and product is working as expected.
Travel to customer's site to service existing and commission new systems.
Schedule, complete, and document special customer projects. Install add-on upgrades to new units. Document all materials used for service, modifications, and custom builds
Research materials needed for customer projects, create a project list
Backup for Warehouse manager
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field OR 3+ years' experience in a technical support role
Strong mechanical devices knowledge preferred– such as motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, etc.
Basic knowledge of assembling and repairing electrical control systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally - domestically is just mainly to local customer sites initially - maybe bordering states afterward, and international travel should only be to Europe for training if needed
Must have a valid Driver's License and driving record in good standing
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
Shift Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
Pay and Wages:
$45,000 - $65,000 annual salary depending on education and experience
