- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial or chemical engineering
- Proven experience in an industrial plant, ideally 5-7+ years
- Knowledge and experience working with engineering tools such as ISO, P&ID, logic
- Understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, flow meters, steam generators
- Experienced in NDE and Hydro and functional testing
- Candidate must be seasoned and polished, at least 5 years of experience
- Engineering background (electrical, mechanical, automation) and has fired up plants/built chemical plants previously
- Based onsite in Houston
- Comfortable with up to 50% travel domestically and internationally
- This person will report to the Global Operations Manager

The company is shifting from R&D phase to operational execution phase and need a Commissioning Engineer/Manager who can take charge in terms of owning the entire build and scale up of their chemical plant operations.
The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for bridging my clients engineering and operations team. You will lean on your experience in process, chemical, automation familiarity to translate theory to functionality. You will be the main point of contact for the teams as they bring global plants online. The experience you bring will help to smooth challenges and ensure solutions are available to the people who need them.
