- Ability and knowledge to deliver, uncrate, assemble, install and repair furniture and office equipment from various manufacturers per specifications/instructions at customer site
- Knowledge and ability to use hand tools and/or small electric tools including, but not limited to: screwdrivers, hammers, drills and wheeled carts
- Adheres to guidelines using padding and protection to prevent damage to product and facilities including doors, floors, elevators, and walls
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adheres to safety manual guidelines
- Load and unload product from installation trucks and product shipped directly to client site
- Install and reconfigure systems furniture within clients' facilities
- May be required to understand systems furniture electrical requirements for hook-ups
- Performs site clean-up by removing all packaging and inspects the finished appearance of the product to ensure customer satisfaction
- Other duties as required
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Must be able to drive company vehicles with a valid driver's license and clean driving record with the ability to successfully pass initial and annual department of motor vehicle checks
- Requires flexibility to work irregular hours and extended shifts as needed
- Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor to interact effectively with clients, occasionally under difficult circumstances
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and customer-service skills: must be able to read, write, interpret and communicate fluently in English
- Strong organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately to meet deadlines by adapting to changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities in a flexible way by following direction, policies, or procedures.
- Use analytical and decision-making skills to offer options and resolve problems in a variety of contexts
- Required to work independently as well as part of a team
- Exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion in handling confidential materials and matters
- Demonstrate commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 70 pounds in all directions
- Operating machinery and/or power tools
- Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
- Work performed in fast-paced warehouse environment daily

Summary:
The Furniture Installer will be responsible for the efficient installation and reconfiguration of systems furniture within clients' facilities while ensuring timely completion of the work with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
The Foreman will be responsible for supervising and assisting with the efficient installation and reconfiguration of systems furniture within client's facilities while ensuring timely completion of the work and a high degree of customer satisfaction.
The Delivery & Service Technicians will be responsible for delivering, assembling and setting up furniture at clients' facilities, resolving problems immediately, and ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
