    RRD is seeking talented and highly motivated Project Managers to join our team This role will provide daily oversight to a team of Project Managers.

    Balance workloads to ensure project deliverables are met. Act as a resource to the project managers for escalated issues, advice and guidance on handling unique business issues.

    Coordinate and manage customer on-boarding and campaigns for variable print, pre-media or Sales throughout the lifecycle (initial meeting through final disposition of a customer's project).

    Position Summary

    As a Project Manager, you will be the key liaison between our clients and our Creative/Production team.

    You will be expected to manage projects including scheduling, estimating, obtaining job detail information, job tracking, invoicing and must be proactive, quick thinking, a problem solver and ultra-organized, ensuring account satisfaction and service excellence.

    The Project Manager will project manage the day-to-day execution and optimization of Creative Services projects - assessing marketing needs, determining goals and coordinating projects.

    This includes resolving and escalating issues and barriers.

    This will be a Hybrid remote position (4 days/week onsite); subject to change.

    Responsibilities

    Work is typically performed under no supervision, with only guidance about overall goals and objectives. Usually receive minimal to no guidance about how to complete work objectives. Must be able to define work based on evaluation of short-term and long-term goals of the department. Able to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate into overall work objectives.

    Act as primary liaison between clients and production teams.
    Apply a broad knowledge of catalog/retail, packaging, and print production workflows.

    Establish and promote excellent customer relations through effective and proactive communications to update clients and other stakeholders on project status.

    Enter and track a high volume of data related work components and updates to client project tracking system

    Lead day-to-day management and optimization of projects, entering specifications using job management software, and ensuring proper priority is given to each job to meet client expectations.

    Demonstrate understanding in each area of Creative Services including: design, print production and prepress.

    Attend and set relevant client meetings, production and project management status calls bringing in appropriate resources from Creative Services as needed.

    Maintain contact with clients and production to set project milestones, create project estimates, tracks schedules, advise of job progress, scheduling concerns, and any requests for additional information or materials, when required.

    Perform invoicing, forecasting on a pre-set deadline and monitor client's budgets for accuracy and timeliness.

    Track and report on quality metrics, strategize with the client and deliver services, which will attract and retain customer loyalty.

    Trains other employees as needed.
    Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

    Able to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments. Able to apply expertise in all the tools or applications used to complete work assignments. Able to mentor junior level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.

    Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted.

    Requires strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.

    Required Experience


    Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 5-7 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.

    The national pay range for this role is $62,100- $109,200 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee.

    The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
    education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.

    In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
