    SUMMARY


    Strata Products Worldwide, LLC (Strata) is a global leader in industrial safety and connected solutions that promote a safer, more productive working environment Headquartered in Atlanta, GA., Strata provides local engineering, service, and sales support to the regions of the U.S., Europe, Australia, South Africa, South America, and Mexico.


    Strata offers a state-of-the-art electronic safety platform, that includes: Completely wireless communications and tracking, post-emergency communications, proximity detection and collision avoidance, ventilation and conveyor monitoring, and Wi-Fi systems as well as cellular LTE.

    Additionally, Strata specializes in the design and manufacturing of emergency refuge chambers, and specialized construction products.


    The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and overseeing the quality of processes and outputs to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with ISO standards.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Lead the development and implementation of quality management systems in line with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards.
    Manage RMA repair process performed by Strata technicians and contract manufacturers to improve flow, minimize inventory of spare components, and maintain history of repairs
    Monitor and audit quality control of contract manufacturers and component suppliers
    Manage and mentor the quality assurance team, setting clear goals and expectations, and evaluating performance.
    Oversee the quality of both in-house and contract-manufactured products to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirements.
    Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality management into the overall business strategy.
    Conduct audits, both internal and external, to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.

    Serve as the primary point of contact for ISO certification processes and maintain documentation and records to support certification and compliance efforts.

    Analyze data and reports to identify trends and drive process improvements.
    Communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff, and external stakeholders regarding quality issues and initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position.

    A.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelors degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
    At least 5 years of experience in quality management within the industrial tech/manufacturing sector.
    Demonstrated experience with ISO certification processes and quality management systems.

    B.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
    Experience in managing quality in contract manufacturing environments.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Canonsburg, PA

    B.

    Travel Requirements


    The incumbent may be required to travel as needed to audit or qualify manufacturers within the USA and occasional international travel.

    Trips will likely require overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.

    C.

    Physical Demands

    This position requires the ability to perform general physical exertions, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting materials or equipment.

    D.

    Work Environment

    Typical work environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.
