Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to assess and address the specific needs of each student
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities
Provide direct therapy services to students, individually or in group settings, aligning with their educational goals
Modify classroom environments and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive technology to facilitate students' engagement and success in academic and social activities
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, and actively participate in team meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) discussions


Requirements:
Valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Passion for working with children and a strong commitment to making a positive impact in a school-based setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals
