    We are seeking a Transportation Engineering Leader to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in project management, staff development, and industry connections.



    • This role will involve leading the development and delivery of projects that have local, state, and regional benefits.

    • The ideal candidate will be comfortable marketing and delivering projects, developing staff, and maintaining good relationships at the state and local levels.

    • Strong project management skills are required along with excellent communication skills including written oral client relations experience interacting clients agencies other stakeholders experience making presentations before elected officials advisory boards attending conferences participating interviews required lead activities South Dakota surrounding areas 10+ years design roadways highways interstates preliminary final experienced position involving challenging complex assignments growth opportunities expected

    • B.S. Degree Engineering related Professional Engineering License ability obtain one South Dakota required Excellent communication strong written oral client relation skills experience interacting clients agencies stakeholders Experience making presentations elected officials advisory boards attending conferences participating interviews Strong organization leadership skills including developing professional staff Experience managing single multi-discipline projects professional teams contracting cost control coordination quality assurance/quality control Work independently task deliverables complete reviewable manner Experience working state/local public agencies
