    Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at a Pre-K through 2 school in Centreville, MD, for the uping school year. As an SLPA, you will play a crucial role in providing support to the school's speech-language pathology program and helping students with munication and language challenges thrive.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists to implement therapy plans and activities designed to enhance students' munication skills
    • Assist in conducting individual and group therapy sessions under the guidance of the supervising SLP
    • Work closely with students, teachers, and parents to promote effective munication strategies and monitor progress
    • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and outes
    • Provide support in assessing students' speech and language abilities
    • Create and adapt materials to support therapy goals and individual student needs
    • Participate in team meetings, IEP planning, and munication with multidisciplinary teams
