    This position requires agile and creative prowess with the ability to increase web traffic through unique and shareable content that inspires and encourages our members and consumers while building brand awareness.

    M-F 9 mostly remote with the requirement of coming in for key meetings 4-6 times a year located in Murray UtahJob Essentials1.Writes engaging material every day with core responsibility to contribute to the content funnel and manage and audit the SelectHealth blog.

    Applies best practices to optimize the customer experience and engage them through effective headlines, breakouts, and teasers for all delivery modes, including desktop, mobile, and other channels.2.Responsible to develop creative strategies for content marketing campaigns and multimedia.

    Develops and enforces related policies and procedures, including deadlines, cadence, style, and tone.3.Makes informed content decisions based on strong SEO acumen, analytics, editorial strategy, effective news judgment, and appreciation of the related SelectHealth content marketing and social media strategies.4.Maintains an in-depth understanding and attentiveness to industry trends and news, audiences, and SelectHealth products and services in order to use content marketing and social media as a proactive method for Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) outreach and lead generation.5.Understands content syndication and ensures timely distribution and tracking of syndicated content.6.Follows upcoming community events and is nimble in content creation while still following an approval workflow to ensure timely review and placement.

    7.Facilitates content creation and consumption by developing both long and short-form content with evergreen attributes.

    Maintains and distributes an editorial calendar that includes a regular cadence and works parallel with social media staff to facilitate consistent distribution.8.Creates effective multimedia through practical experience using both PC and products Apple, and software such as Adobe, Animoto, and other tools.9.Collaborates with Intermountain Healthcare and other clinical partners to ensure cross promotion and long-term exposure.10.Works with internal clients to ensure content is appropriate for their audiences and explores alternative mediums for communication.11.Coordinates freelance and contract work and assignments, which may include writing, photography, and multimedia as needed.12.Provides traditional media support and helps to research and craft media responses as needed.

    Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or marketing obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
    Five years of experience in creative writing, multimedia production and video editing, and Site Engine Optimization (SEO) in a Marketing capacity.- and
    • Five years of editorial or production management experience and experience making deadline decisions.

    • Demonstrated experience in content marketing and strong news judgment.

    • Demonstrated strong editorial skills with extensive knowledge of style guides.

    • Demonstrated skills with Adobe Suite, photography, and video editing.

    • Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams and autonomously.

    • Experience with online community building.

    • Data driven and highly analytical.
    Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in communications, marketing, English, or related field.
