    Saint Francis Healthcare System-MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma ER - Emergency Room Director for a nursing job in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

    Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, this position is:

    Responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising all of the non-physician functions within Emergency and Trauma Services to ensure that services are provided in accordance with the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives of Saint Francis Medical Center.

    Oversees a wide variety of regulatory, administrative and fiscal activities internal and external to Emergency and Trauma Services.
    Provides strong leadership, motivation and staff development to the Emergency and Trauma Services staff.

    Ensures services are provided in accordance with policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the State of Missouri Level III Trauma Regulations, the Missouri Hospital Association, and the Department of Health and Senior Services.

    Master's degree in business or healthcare administration-preferred.

    • Bachelors Nursing required
    PALS or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – preferred (will be required to obtain)

    • Missouri Specialty Certification in Emergency and/or Trauma Nursing – preferred (will be required to obtain)
    -5 years experience as Registered Nurse in Trauma Center-required
    -2-3 years progressive healthcare leadership experience-preferred
