    Description:


    The Cell Leader's primary focus will be on leading and motivating a team of production workers to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

    You will coordinate production activities, monitor performance, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and meet customer demands.


    Responsibilities:
    Lead and coach a team of production line workers, ensuring optimal performance and teamwork.
    Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide feedback to meet production schedules and quality standards.
    Coordinate production activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery.
    Ensure efficient resource utilization to meet targets and delivery schedules.
    Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards.
    Promote safety awareness and compliance in all production activities.
    Conduct safety training and incident investigations.
    Ensure equipment setup according to production plans.
    Validate accuracy of work orders and product quantities.
    Perform line clearance operations and document production runs.
    Monitor time and attendance records.
    Collaborate with Quality Assurance for quality compliance.


    Requirements:
    Prolonged periods standing and walking.
    English and Spanish preferred.
    Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
    Must be able to visually inspect machines.
    Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    Wear Personal Protective Equipment such as:

    • Safety glasses
    • Long sleeve coat
    • Hairnet
    • Gloves

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Equivalent Experience.
    1-2 years of operations management experience, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals manufacturing.
    Minimum 3 years of extensive experience applying Lean Manufacturing Principles in operations.
    Proven track record in production management or manufacturing leadership, achieving targets, and implementing process improvements.
    Strong leadership and team-building skills, capable of motivating teams towards excellence.
    In-depth knowledge of production processes, lean principles, and quality management systems.
    Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.
    Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.
    Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
