- Building and wiring electrical control panels based on electrical schematics.
- Performing machine wiring according to machine drawings and/or electrical schematics.
- Executing mechanical tasks like attaching enclosures to a machine, drilling holes in cabinets, and mounting conduits.
- Assisting with pre-functional testing, troubleshooting, and start-ups of machine electrical systems.
- Submitting accurate weekly time-sheets documenting completed work.
- Maintaining workplace cleanliness and organization.
- Adhering to workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Performing other assigned duties and responsibilities.
- Assisting in various shop areas as necessary based on production needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
- Capability to comprehend Bills of Materials.
- Familiarity with AC/DC controls circuits and 3 PH motor control.
- 3+ years of experience in automated industrial control panel building and equipment wiring.
- Proficiency with power and hand tools, fabrication machinery, pneumatic tools, and using a multi-meter.
- Experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry.
- Knowledge of electrical control system components.
- Strong communication and math skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and blueprints.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects with flexibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service orientation.
- Ownership of basic hand tools.
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology.
- Experience in the Conveyor Industry.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of bending, kneeling, walking or sitting for extended periods.
- Ability to reach above head and below knees.
- Aptitude for climbing and working at elevation.
- Exposure to material handling equipment, dust, moderate noise, and use of personal protective equipment.

position is responsible for the electrical and mechanical assembly of electrical control panels and cabinets. The electro-mechanical technician will also conduct machine wiring and aid in machine troubleshooting and start-up as outlined in electrical schematics, machine drawings, and engineering.
The ideal candidate possesses strong electrical skills and mechanical aptitude, is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and driven to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This individual collaborates closely with the Electrical Assembly Manager, Assembly Manager, and Electrical Engineers to construct top-notch equipment promptly. They foster a team-oriented approach to problem-solving across the organization and receive continuous support from all departments.
