    As an IS Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work in partnership with multiple development teams is responsible for developing, improving, and executing automated testing scenarios and scripts for Concentras application services that will further result in the expedient delivery of quality driven software to enable the companys business growth plans.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop, modify, and execute both manual and automated testing scripts to ensure the highest quality of delivered software by identifying deviations from intended functionality through all phases of quality testing
    • Work to ensure that new software will work, as intended, across a diverse set of operating systems and platforms immediately.
    • Facilitate the communication and resolution of discovered defects early and regularly
    • Champion the importance of production defect traceability by participating in root cause analysis activities, identifying potential gaps in requirements (test case scope/complexity) or test case execution, and adjust accordingly to close those gaps
    • Accountable for the development conversion of existing manual test cases into automated scripts
    • Responsible and / or accountable for documenting and supporting the proactive identification of end-to-end test solution designs and early automation opportunities
    • Serve as an active technology leader in the company. Foster a collaborative cross-functional culture and successfully influence other development, QA, and infrastructure functions

    Qualifications:

    Education Level: Bachelors Degree
    Major: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study

    Degree must be from an accredited college or university. In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa.

    • Customarily has at least two (2) years of experience developing test plans, automation test script creation, and automation test scripts execution. This experience should include a composite of the following experience types:
      • Experience with software testing operating in a continuous delivery/integration delivery environment.
      • Experience in applications developed with at least one of the following: C#, Java, C, ASP.NET, Python, JavaScript, JQuery, Power Builder, Web Services and API development, Glassfish, WebLogic.
      • Testing automation experience
    • Experience in HP ALM, HP QFT/UFT SmartBear Test Complete, Selenium or other automation testing tools is preferred
    • Previous health care industry experience within both the provider and payer markets would be a major advantage
    • Experience with high volume EMR, PMS, ERP and ecommerce/partner connectivity applications

    • Experience supporting multiple products and estimating project resource requirements

Has depth and skills in being creative and developing efficient and effective testing strategies to address diverse and complex business problems.
    • Proven capabilities in building relationships among peers and management in other regions and business units to drive collaboration
    • Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools; JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence is preferred
    • SmartBear Test Complete, SmartBear QA Complete, Selenium or other automation testing tools is preferred
    • Ability to use or quickly learn a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools
    • Ability to code and script
    • Experience with troubleshooting/identifying application defects occurring in one or more of the Microsoft .NET, J2EE, or PowerBuilder technology stack environments. Experience conducting test execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting utilizing data either residing within or queried from a database utilizing SQL.
