    Role description:


    Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Controls Lead with large capital project experience to join our program management team in Charleston, South Carolina.

    Applicants should be aware this is an on-site position in Charleston.


    This is a dynamic role providing leadership and support to the project team as well as creating strong relationships with our key client and related stakeholders.

    The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of capital projects, construction project cycle, scheduling, and project budgets to ensure projects meet required goals.


    Role accountabilities:

    • Client facing role representing Arcadis to one of our key technology clients and stakeholders taking on the responsibility of ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Manage Client and related stakeholder relationships.
    • Support and lead a team of project controls professionals with a focus on Cost Control, Earned Value Management, Budgets, Estimating, Change Management, Risk Management, Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Reporting Progress and Performance, and Project Funding.
    • Manage and plan resources to support Client needs.
    • Propose, initiate, and implement continuous improvement to increase efficiency and impact.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • 10+ years of applicable experience related to Project Control Leadership with a stable employment history demonstrating progression in leadership as well as project value and complexity.
    • Knowledge of project processes from preconstruction to close-out as well as excellent understanding of project budgets, financial reporting, risk assessment and change order management
    • Comfortable working with and interpreting project contracts as well as other project related documents and reports
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Strong client and account management skills
    • Knowledgeable about project scheduling and the related project touchpoints, milestones, and deadlines
    • Experience utilizing and interpretation data and reports generated by Primavera P6
    • Be able to prioritize and manage deadline driven environments.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills to ensure an effective and collaborative team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
    • Certification in one or more: PMP, CCP, CCM (Commercial & Contract Management Certification)

    The salary range for this position is $97,600 - $168,360
