- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for patients in a correctional facility
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens, as appropriate, to assessed medical conditions
- Maintain medical records and charts documenting all medical services rendered
- Refer patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components, as appropriate
- Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required
- Current state license as a MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Current DEA license
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
