    Description

    Collections Specialist at NRG USA

    Are you passionate about managing collections and debt recovery? NRG USA is looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join their team in Farmingdale. If you have a background in collections within a law firm and excel in communication and negotiation, this could be the perfect role for you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reach out to clients to recover outstanding debts
    • Negotiate payment plans and settlements
    • Track accounts for overdue payments and take necessary actions
    • Generate reports on collection progress
    • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to create effective debt recovery strategies
    • Maintain detailed records of collection activities

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of collections experience, preferably in a legal environment
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
    • Capability to work autonomously and within a team
    • Familiarity with legal procedures and debt collection regulations
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized collections software
    • Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
