As an Obstetrics Technician that is CST certified or an LPN with previous scrub experience, you can expect to assist when overnight c-sections are required.
You will provide setup and preparation of surgical procedures for physicians and surgical staff under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will also provide support and communicate directly with surgical teams and supervisory staff.
The majority of your time, you will play a critical role actively supporting our Maternity Center patients by rooming patients, setting up charts, helping take vitals, giving baby baths, assist the floor in stocking, and also function as a Unit Clerk and Certified Nursing Assistant to provide the exceptional patient care that Saint Alphonsus is recognized for.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed as an LPN in lieu of certifications
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
*CST: One year of scrub experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
or
*LPN: At least one year of scrub experience required.
