    Job Opportunity: Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Our Company

    We are looking for a skilled Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. Check out the qualifications below:

    • Ensure high-quality products are shipped to customers promptly, avoiding delays and missed shipments; you may need to put in some extra hours.
    • Manage the process by planning and scheduling employees for a smooth shipment transition.
    • Coordinate with freight lines to ensure efficient loading and unloading of trucks, railcars, etc.
    • Take samples of raw materials (if applicable) before unloading bulk material into our facility.
    • Inspect items as required.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records.
    • Get trained and skilled with the IQMS system.
    • Handle troubleshooting situations effectively.
    • Fill in for material handlers when necessary.

    Desired Skills and Experience:
    • High school diploma or equivalent is a must.
    • Minimum one year of factory-related experience in shipping and receiving.
    • Attention to detail is crucial.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
    • Ability to foster a team environment within the department and other production areas.
    • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Ensure machine safety devices are not tampered with.
    • Conduct Daily Shift Inspections on the assigned forklift to ensure proper functioning.
    • Keep the work area clean and safe, free of obstacles, scrap product, tools, etc.
    • Adhere to all safety procedures strictly.
    • Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the tasks at hand.
