Our client in the manufacturing space is seeking a Content Migration Program Coordinator to support a large-scale intranet migration project.
This is a part-time, fully remote freelance role (approximately 20 hours/week) running from mid-late April through October.Candidates must be available to across Pacific and Eastern time zones for meetings, and they'll work out a regular cadence of work with the selected candidate.
The Coordinator will partner with program leads, IT, and content owners to drive day to day execution of the migration, including tracking activities, facilitating meetings, delivering training, and supporting multiple workstreams as the organization transitions to a new intranet platform (ServiceNow preferred).
This role is critical to the program's success and requires a highly motivated freelancer with strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Content Migration Program Coordinator Responsibilities- Coordinate and track content migration activities, assignments, and progress across workstreams
- Support audits of existing intranet content, stakeholder identification, and assignment of migration activities
- Facilitate meetings and working sessions with content owners and editors
- Provide 1:1 consulting support to content owners and editors, including troubleshooting and advising on content recreation or manual migration steps
- Maintain status reports, dashboards, risk/issues logs, and migration trackers
- Support key readiness and deployment phases (content prep, freeze, pilot, UAT, golive, hypercare)
- Provide hands on guidance and support during content review and migration
- Draft clear updates, notes, and follow ups for program leads and stakeholders
- Assist with documentation, templates, runbooks, RACIs, and checklists
- Collaborate closely with program leads, workstream leads, and IT partners to keep milestones on track
- Provide general support to additional workstreams as needed to ensure timely delivery
- Minimum of 4 years of project coordination/management experience supporting complex, multi workstream programs
- Experience with intranet migrations or intranet content operation (ServiceNow preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and IT groups
- Proven experience facilitating meetings, training sessions, and collaborative workshops including live virtual trainings and step by step guide creation
- High technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools
- Background in internal communications, change management, or tech implementation programs
- Familiarity with information architecture, content governance, and search fundamentals
- Strong presentation skills and experience providing one on one coaching or support
- Excellent verbal communication, presentation, and documentation skills
