    This job collaborates with leadership to develop and implement the departmental strategic plan. Manages the practice, quality of care, financial performance and service delivered. Provides leadership and direction to staff that encourages optimum staff performance and achievement of strategic imperatives.

    Education

    Required - Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

    Preferred - Master's degree in business, healthcare or related field or actively enrolled in a master's degree program.

    Work Experience

    Required - 3 years of related clinical experience including two years in supervision or management.

    Certifications

    Required - Eligibility for licensure to practice physical, occupational, or speech therapy in the state of practice.

    If the position is located within the fitness center (OFC), Athletic Training Certification (ATC) is required in lieu of above certifications.

    Preferred - Licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech therapist current in state of practice.

    Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to be self-directed.
    • Ability to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. more than eight hours a day) and travel throughout and between facilities.
    Job Duties
    • Maintains operational profitability by developing and implementing a budget, auditing financial reports, and examining methods to reduce operational costs.
    • Ensures quality of care/patient satisfaction.
    • Develops personnel and workforce to ensure adequate coverage.
    • Ensures physical and technological infrastructure meets functional needs of the organization.
    • Performs other related duties as required.

    The incumbent works with patients who have known or suspected communicable diseases and may enter isolation rooms. The incumbent has an occupational risk for exposure to all communicable diseases.

    Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
