    Description

    **Job Summary:**

    A qualified mental health professional provides crisis assessments and client-centered care for adults experiencing a mental health crisis episode. This crisis residential unit offers optional support for immediate crisis stabilization services, diverting from in-patient hospitalization and/or incarceration.

    Crisis residential services are time-limited, intensive case management, and geared to establish safety, attainable goals, and person-centered treatment planning. The clinician engages clients in daily interactions, including mental health and life skills groups, facilitates community-based resources, and conducts risk assessment, goal-based, and safety discharge planning.

    The primary focus is on assisting with immediate clinical stabilization to ensure client care and safety, making the greatest impact in a short period of time while providing the right care during their greatest time of need.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    • Facilitate daily interactions with clients, including mental health and life skills groups
    • Conduct risk assessment, goal-based, and safety discharge planning
    • Engage clients in community-based resources and ongoing services linkage

    **Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field
    • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record
