    Description

    The ideal candidate is respectful, responsible and a resourceful team player. On-the-job training is an option for the ideal candidate.

    The primary responsibilities for a Petroleum Service Technician are:


    • Diagnose and service petroleum service calls.
    • Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on all petroleum equipment in accordance with manufacturer's recommended procedures.
    • Experience or license to install above and below ground fuel tanks.
    • Advise about equipment condition and possible upgrades.
    • Communicate with parts vendors for equipment needed.
    • Perform compliance inspections
    • Complete installation of and start-up procedures for new dispensers, monitoring equipment and POS systems
    The desired qualifications for a Petroleum Service Technician are:


    • High School graduate or equivalent
    • Certifications are a plus, but not required:
    • Ability to acquire Install and Closure license.
    • Veeder Root
    • POS (Passport or Verifone) Not required
    • Dispenser (Wayne or Gilbarco)
    • Mechanical and electrical experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Pay:
    $ $35.00 per hour (depends on level of experience)
