    Description

    Job Summary

    The Assembler position involves putting together fabricated components under supervision following established guidelines to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity benchmarks, meeting customer expectations.

    Major Responsibilities

    • Adhering to Quality Management, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct
    • Assembling sub-components, installing accessories, and wiring basic electrical connections
    • Inspecting products to meet quality and engineering standards
    • Utilizing hand tools for operations including electrical and pneumatic power tools
    • Handling materials and products with lifting equipment as needed
    • Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and blueprints
    • Completing electronic paperwork and maintaining records
    • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workplace


    Required Skills

    • Must be able to stand and walk on concrete throughout the workday
    • Capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
    • Able to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs and more with assistance
    • Skilled at climbing and balancing
    • Proficient in using hands for handling and inspection
    • Comfortable working in non-climate controlled settings above 95°F


    Required Experience

    • Preferably a GED or High School Diploma
    • 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
    • Ability to interpret blueprints and use basic math skills
    • Competency in reading a tape measure
    • Basic understanding of English for communication
