    Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home is a State of the Art, 60-bed long-term care unit with a 12-bed memory care unit.

    Major Duties and ResponsibiltitesAdministrative FunctionsAssure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
    Dietary ServiceServe meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
    Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
    Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.

    Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties Clean work tables, meat blocks, regrigerators/freezersSweep and mop floorsCarry soiled utensils to wash areaReturn clean utensils to proper storage areasSet up meal trays, food carts, dining room etc.

    Assist cook in preparing mealsDistribute and collect menus as necessaryObtain food supplies for next meal.

    Prepare and deliver snacks Safety and SanitationAssure that safety regulations are followed at all times by all personnelReport all hazardous conditions/equipment to the director of food services immediately.

    Report all accidents/ incidents as established by department policiesResident RightsMaintain confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information.
