- The maximum amount of hours a tutor or SI Leader can work is 20 hours per week. If you are also employed as a tutor or at another department at CSN or any other Nevada State Higher Education Institution, your hours will be combined and you cannot exceed 29 hours at both locations per week.

Part -Time Centers for Academic Success Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader FY 2024
Job Description
Supplemental Instruction Leaders attend all class meetings of a selected course, take notes, and read all assigned material. They plan and conduct 2-3 study sessions per week throughout the term, using strategies learned in SI Leader training. SI Leaders may work on Charleston Campus, Henderson Campus, North Las Vegas Campus, or one of the CSN learning centers.
