    Job Title: Marketing Coordinator

    Reports to: Marketing Manager

    Summary: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School across social media platforms and building positive relationships with local groups, schools, businesses, and events to represent the school effectively in the community.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Overseeing the quality and success of social media platforms to maintain a positive image in the community.
    • Establishing relationships with local entities to cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Utilizing creativity to promote Goldfish Swim School on platforms like Instagram and Facebook by generating content, engaging with the audience, and staying up-to-date with social media trends.
    • Supervising a team for water safety presentations and events, coordinating staffing as needed.
    • Managing outreach, communication, and implementation of water safety presentations.
    • Handling Marketing Tracking Spreadsheet and overseeing marketing calendar and website event calendar.
    • Ensuring timely follow-up on event leads and creating school signage.
    • Attending community events with the Bubbles mascot for community engagement.
    • Proficiency in iClass Pro, Salesforce (Wave), and cross-training in swim instruction and front desk roles.
    • Maintaining relationships with Parent Ambassadors, tracking their activities, and supporting their obligations.
    Education/Experience:
    A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The role requires exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities. Proficiency in Facebook and Instagram is essential.

    Certificates and Licenses: CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are mandatory, while lifeguard certifications are highly recommended.

    Work Environment:
    While the position may involve exposure to heat and humidity on occasions, the noise level is typically moderate.
