    Job Description

    We're on the lookout for a Caregiver/CNA to join our team and assist elderly or disabled individuals in their daily care routine. The position involves different shifts from Monday to Friday, as well as weekends, where you'll be providing essential support and companionship. If you have experience working in hospitals or nursing homes, and are familiar with using a hoyer lift, this could be the perfect fit for you. This role requires a compassionate individual who can help with various daily activities and ensure the well-being of our residents.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Caring for residents by assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, toileting, and mobility.
    • Helping clients move in and out of beds, baths, and wheelchairs, as well as aiding with dressing and grooming.
    • Performing household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry, in addition to running errands.
    • Monitoring vital signs and administering medications as per guidelines.
    • Keeping detailed records of residents' progress and discussing observations with supervisors.
    • Serving meals based on specified dietary requirements.
    • Providing guidance on cleanliness, hygiene, and nutrition to clients.
    • Upholding safety protocols and regulations at all times.
    • Ensuring resident and employee confidentiality is maintained.
    • Reporting any incidents, accidents, or concerns promptly to the relevant personnel.
    • Participating in departmental meetings and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Possessing a strong service mindset and the ability to actively listen and think critically.
    • Demonstrating a work ethic characterized by patience, understanding, and professionalism.
    • Having a grasp of basic medical terminology.
    • Comfortably working in an environment where clients may require assistance with daily tasks.
    • Understanding key principles of personal care, housekeeping, and other related areas.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is a must.
    • At least one year of relevant experience.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
    • Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
