Job Requirements:

As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will responsible for building innovative and highly automated solutions at scale that include rapid provisioning of both physical and virtualized environments.. This engineering position will be The right candidate will have a passion for availability, automation, and a knack for problem-solving. This technical position will interact directly with fellow Tech Ops System Engineers and Dev Ops Engineers leveraging strong communication skills to solve complex technical issues. Team members will also work across the Citrix Tech Ops organization to leverage expertise and engineering processes to ensure the ability to scale deployed solutions and leverage best practices. Team members will have opportunities to work with a wide range of cutting-edge software and hardware technologies. in a company that is continuously recognized for its world-class products
Extensive experience (8+ years) with Linux based systems and applications.
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server platforms
Extensive experience with design, setup, and maintenance of Cloud computing and virtualization technologies and services including OpenStack, VMWare and KVM and public clouds like AWS
Deep understanding of networking technologies and troubleshooting Deep understanding of storage technologies and applications. Software defined storage experience preferred
Extensive experience building and owning large-scale, geographically distributed backend systems
Significant exposure and understanding of languages such as Java, Ruby and Python a plus
Senior Infrastructure engineer/ System Administrator comfortable with influencing partner engineering/development organizations on infrastructure best practices, designs, and thought leadership
Ensure levels of quality, automation, and timeliness are met during continual service improvement
Leads the training of teams on new technologies, tools and engineering principles

Job Qualifications:

Masters in CS Degree or equivalent relevant experience with industry experience in High Scale SaaS environments
5+ years of technical experience as a developer, systems engineering, or DevOps responsibilities.
? Strong understanding of container virtualization technologies, such as Docker, Drawbridge, or Flockport.
Effectively collaborates with peers and engineering to achieve end-to-end product and process quality.
In-depth knowledge of AWS services, such as CloudFormation, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, and CloudTrail.
? Prior continuous delivery experience using tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt.
Strong customer service orientation with Product mindset
Excellent communication skills
Comfortable working in a 24x7, ever changing, rapidly evolving environment
Team player able to work in fast-paced, matrix organization
Leads the training of teams on new technologies, tools and engineering principles
