    Description:

    Automotive Technician:

    • Diagnose and perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
    • Perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made.
    • Complete full multi-point inspections and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
    • Communicate with Service Advisor's to ensure efficient work flow.
    • Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
    • Demonstrate excellent guest service, which includes providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
    • Promote teamwork to deliver on guest expectations.
    • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

    . Requirements:

    Automotive Technician:

    • High School diploma or GED.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
    • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
    • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • You must supply your own tools.
    • Strong computer skills and diagnostic capabilities
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
    • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and treated with respect.
    • Maintain a neat, clean and orderly work station.
    • Must maintain integrity, honesty, and work ethics.
    • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
    • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
    • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
