    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


    The primary responsibility of this position is to interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve issues.

    Incumbent is responsible for servicing existing accounts as well as new target opportunities while working under moderate supervision. Responsibilities captioned below are considered essential job functions.

    Process EDI schedules and changes as needed

    Respond to customer expedite reports, and open order reports on a regular basis.

    Prepare quotations as needed

    Process and prepare all purchase orders and changes as needed.

    Work closely with Order Service Manager to develop and implement target account specific objectives, strategies, and action plans

    Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken

    Monitor customer satisfaction and communicate this information to management

    Review orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demand

    Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills

    Compare disputed merchandise with original requisitions and information from invoices, and prepare invoices for returned goods

    Other duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

    PC Skills, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    Self-motivated and self-disciplined

    Analytical and problem solving skills

    Ability to work well under pressure

    Communication and presentation skills

    Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach frequently throughout the workday

    Valid driver's license

    Knowledge of MFG production and company products

    Ability to travel very minimal

    Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

    General office, shop and machine tool noise, dirt, grease, heat and fumes from the operation of machines and equipment infrequently.

    Normal working position is sitting, standing and walking through out the plant, reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs infrequently, talk, hear.

    Occasionally will lift and or move up to 25 lbs during company visits.


    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
    H.S. Diploma or equivalent,

    Two years experience working in a Order Services department
